Police Brutality October 08, 2005

As most of us feared, police have not learned from what happened in January 26/27, 2001. Today, they fired tear gas cannisters and live bullets injuring 18 supporters of the opposition party, the Civic United Front (CUF). Here are some pictures of the wounded CUF supporters, as evidence of police brutality in Tanzaniai, and Zanzibar in particular.
