Zanzinet Website

The World Wide Web usually addresses very few issues about Zanzibar, mostly those related to tourism, politics and history. We would like to cover as many aspects as possible on our website. We have launched a new Zanzibar website on October 18, 2004 covering not only history but also some aspects of the economy and natural resources. This new Zanzibar page adds up to the poems and recipes pages launched earlier.

If you decide to write on any issue or would like to share a story with your fellow Zanzibaris around the world, please write to us.

Abebwae Hujikaza

"Abebwae Hujikaza" ni msemo maarufu katika lugha ya Kiswahili. Hapa unamaanisha mchango wa hiari kwa wanachama wa Zanzinet. Huduma zinazohitajika kuendesha Zanzinet zinahitaji malipo ambayo ni lazima yapatikanwe kutoka kwa wanachama wenyewe. Hakuna kiwango maalumu cha mchango huu ila unakwenda kulingana na uwezo wa mwanachama na wasaa wake mara moja kwa mwaka.

Mjumbe anaweza kutuma mchango wake moja kwa moja kwa posta au katika akaunti ya benki. Ukiamua kutoa mchango wako basi wasiliana na Dr. Kassim Abdullah kwa e-mail: kassim@king.igs.net
