Mailing Lists

Zanzinet runs the mailing list for which the necessary condition is to be a member. At present, this mailing list is open only to Zanzibaris and open forums are available for all others with interest on Zanzibar. For instructions on how to subscribe to Zanzinet mailing list choose Join Zanzinet on the left navigation bar.

For those who are already members of Zanzinet they have the option of subscribing to Habari mailing list. To subscribe to this list please write to Zanzinet Administrators. On this list, members receive postings containing updates of international news.

Message archives

Zanzinet operates a message archive for members who either wishes to read past messages or read messages online instead of receiving in their mail accounts.

Anonymous Message Posting

Zanzinet allows anonymous message posting for members who do not like their names to be revealed to the public due to the sensitivity of their positions or just on other personal grounds. You can send an anonymous message to the forum by writing to anonymous@zanzinet.org.

Self Services

Zanzinet members who experience mail problems or those wishing to suspend mail delivery for sometime can report to Zanzinet Administrators or use self services by visiting the Self Service page at the Zanzinet website.

Open Forums

Zanzibaris and non-Zanzibaris who wish to post messages out of the ordinary mailing list can do so by subscribing to Zanzinet Open Forums. Messages are not moderated but foul language and other malpractices are not tolerated.
