Zanzibar Team in CECAFA 2004
Ethiopia sent Zanzibar packing
Ethiopia thrashed Zanzibar 3-0 on Sunday December 19, 2004 to earn a ticket
in the semi-final of
the CECAFA Senior Challege cup in Addis Ababa. After loosing 2-1 to Burundi
on Friday December 17, 2004 Zanzibar had no chance of finding a spot in the
semis and the loss to Ethiopia is a vivid reminder that much needs to be done
to make Zanzibar team a force to reckon with in the region.
